1. General

These terms govern your use of Doost Corner (doostcorner.com), operated by Doost Art Gallery, based in the Netherlands. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Products & pricing

All prices are displayed in EUR and include VAT where applicable. Prices for original artworks are set by the artist and may change without notice until an order is confirmed. Print and postcard prices are fixed at the time of order.

3. Orders & payment

Submissions through our website (orders, enquiries, find requests) are requests, not binding contracts. Our curator will confirm availability and provide payment details via email. A binding contract is formed once we confirm your order and payment is received. We accept bank transfer and other payment methods as agreed upon.

4. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

Under EU consumer protection law, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, contact us at [email protected] with your order details. You must return the item in its original condition at your own cost. We will refund the purchase price within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

Exceptions: Custom commissions and personalized items are excluded from the right of withdrawal, as they are made to your specifications.

5. Shipping & delivery

• Prints and postcards ship within 5–10 business days
• Original artworks may require additional preparation time
• Shipping within the Netherlands is free for prints
• EU shipping costs will be communicated before payment
• All works are carefully packaged for safe delivery
• Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery

6. Returns & refunds

Beyond the 14-day withdrawal right, returns for original artworks are handled on a case-by-case basis. If a product arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours with photos and we will arrange a replacement or refund.

7. Gift orders

For gift orders, we can ship directly to the recipient with an optional personal note. The recipient has the same withdrawal and return rights as the buyer.

8. Intellectual property

All artwork images, descriptions, and content on this site are owned by the respective artists and Doost Art Gallery. Purchasing a work gives you ownership of the physical piece but does not transfer reproduction or copyright. Reproduction without written permission is prohibited.

9. Liability

We take care to accurately represent all works on the site. However, colours may vary slightly between screens and the physical work. For original artworks, our curator can provide additional photos or details upon request.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under EU law.
